The Raymond Lemaire International Centre for Conservation (KU Leuven) is very pleased to invite you to its annual international conference which will be held at Arenberg Castle in Leuven, February 5th-8th 2018.
The 2018 Thematic Week of the Raymond Lemaire International Centre for Conservation deals with professionalism in the built heritage sector. The aim of this international conference is to define the professional profiles, capacities and drivers involved in a fruitful project. Based on identified gaps in the sector’s organisational fabric, theoretical reflections and best practices will be dealt with according to 3 main sessions: “profiles and capacities”, “education, training and quality labels”, “obstacles and changes”.
The Call For Papers is open: We seek contributions that deal with practice-led research or scientific research. Abstracts of max. 500 words should be submitted by 20/11/2017 to firstname.lastname@example.org. Authors will be notified of their acceptance to conference by the end of November. Full papers will be included in the Raymond Lemaire International Centre for Conservation book series, ‘Reflections on Cultural Heritage Theories and Practices’, which is published by CRC/Balkema (Taylor&Francis group) and indexed in SCOPUS.
