ICCROM has one of the world´s leading conservation libraries, with
over 90,000 catalogue entries giving access to books, reports and over
1,800 journals titles in more than 40 languages.
ICCROM´s institutional Archive is composed of approximately 500
linear meters of records, which consist of textual records on paper, and
around 4,500 drawings, 200,000 photographs, 1,000 audiovisuals and digital
material.
Internships in the documentation centre may be undertaken both in the Library and Archives. In the past, these have involved rearrangement and inventorying of archival and library collections;
cataloguing, rehousing and digitization of images; as well as preparation of management plans for digital and audiovisual resources, and disaster preparedness. Other types of internship
projects might be envisaged, such as records management planning.
