Part of the overall objective of the ICCROM laboratory is to address current technical issues in conservation through research and through the organization of a series of theme-based workshops.

Objectives

  • define the current state of art of the research on specific topics of restoration/conservation;
  • promote and stimulate new or different subjects/issues that need to be addressed;
  • exchange facts based on practical experiences and on expertise;
  • discuss in-depth topics concerning theoretical aspects.
