On 7 September, a Memorandum of Understanding has been agreed between ICCROM and the ASK Research Centre at the Bocconi University.

The agreement was signed by Mr Paolo Fresco, President of the ASK Research Centre of the Bocconi University and former President of FIAT Spa, and by Mounir Bouchenaki, Director-General of ICCROM. Also present were Mr Stefano Baia Curioni, Director of the Centre, and Mr Bruno Pisani, Manager of Finance and Administration at ICCROM.

The agreement establishes a framework of cooperation to develop studies and initiatives which focus on the relationship between heritage and the growth of local communities, regions and areas in terms of economic, social and cultural capital/assets.

ASK (Art, Science and Knowledge) is the Centre for Research on Management and Economics of Arts and Culture Institutions at Bocconi University.
