Sirmium, Serbia
28 August – 21 September 2006

in archaeological sites. An illustrated glossary of weathering effects for
stone and related materials has been prepared for the course.

overview of approaches to the conservation of archaeological heritage, as
well as of the characteristics and technology of archaeological materials,
their alteration and decay. It will include case studies within the site,
