3 December. From 30 November to 1 December, ICCROM hosted a partners meeting for the International Course on Wood Preservation Technology. The aim of the meeting was to discuss the recently concluded 12th edition of the course which takes place every two years in Oslo, Norway, and to begin looking forward to the next course planned for 2008. Attending the meeting from Norway were: Mr. Nils Marstein, Director General of the Norwegian Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Ms. Tone Olstad, Norwegian Institute for Cultural Heritage Research, Ms. Eir Grytli,  Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Ms. Merete Winness, Norwegian Institute for Cultural Heritage Research.
Attending the meeting on behalf of ICCROM were Joseph King and Gamini Wijesuriya.  The meeting was opening by the Director-General, Mr. Mounir Bouchenaki.
