ICCROM is pleased to announce the arrival of a new Fellow, Dr Robert Waller, on a six-months ICCROM Fellowship from March to August 2006. Dr Waller has a Ph.D. from Göteborg University Institute for Conservation and is currently Chief of Conservation at the Canadian Museum of Nature in Ottawa. He has also participated as a lecturer in the ICCROM-CCI (Canadian Conservation Institute) courses on 'Reducing risks to collections'. During his time at ICCROM, he will be looking at expertise in fields such as insurance and the protection of commercial properties which, he believes, can make a major contribution to improving the management and risk assessment of cultural heritage.
