| New intern at ICCROM
Annie Tubadji, has taken up a three-month internship at ICCROM until August 2006.
She is a postgraduate student at the University of
Trento, Italy under the CoDe Joint European Masters programme in 'Comparative Local
Development for the Balkans and Other Areas of
Transformation'. The CoDe programme is a joint effort of four European Universities: University of Trento, Italy,
University of Budapest, Hungary, University of Lubljana, Slovenia, and University of
Regensburg, Germany.
Her research topic is on 'Cultural Corridors in South East Europe (SEE) - Programming and Strategic Planning. Sustainable Cultural Tourism Development in Bulgaria and the SEE Region'.
At ICCROM, Ms Tubadji, will work within the framework of the 'Teamwork for Integrated Emergency Management', the pilot project developed by ICCROM, ICOM and the GCI, in Asia. This project included workshops and a distance mentoring phase, and will conclude in June 2006 in Korea with a meeting of all participating museums.
Annie Tubadji will assist in the evaluation of the results of the pilot project and explore the possibility of applying a similar teaching and learning approach in the SEE area.
