Dr Franciza Lima Toledo has arrived at ICCROM to take up a three-month Fellowship from September to November 2006.

Dr Toledo is an architect as well as a paintings and sculpture restorer. She holds a PhD in Museums Studies from the Institute of Archaeology, University College London.

Her studies at ICCROM will focus on preventive conservation of collections in the context of historic buildings. In particular, she will be examining how they can be used to store collections in a way that protects both the collections and the heritage values of the buildings themselves.
