6 December. The President of Albania, HE Alfred Moisiu, presented Mounir Bouchenaki, Director-General of ICCROM, with the Golden Maim Frasheri Order Medal 'for the remarkable contribution given to the international popularization of Albanian cultural heritage values'. The Director-General was also presented with honorary citizenship of the town of Vlora.
