6 June. ICCROM hosted a two-day meeting with the Getty Conservation Institute (GCI) and the International Committee for the Conservation of Mosaics (ICCM) to discuss the development of a five-year regional programme on the conservation of mosaics in the Mediterranean region.

Present were: Mounir Bouchenaki, Director-General of ICCROM; Jeanne Marie Teutonico (Associate Director, GCI, USA), Demetrios Michaelides (President, ICCM); Aicha Ben Abed (Research Director, National Institute for Heritage, Tunisia); Gaël de Guichen (former ICCROM Assistant to the Director); Joe King (Sites Unit Director, ICCROM), Catherine Antomarchi (Collections Unit Director, ICCROM); and Zaki Aslan (ATHAR Programme Manager, ICCROM).
