ARIS07: Architectural Records, Inventories and Information Systems for Conservation

3 September. The international course on architectural conservation, heritage recording, and information management begins later this month.
The course objective is to improve conservation decisions through better information. Subjects will include photography, photogrammetry and other recording techniques, data management, geographic information systems, inventory principles, dissemination tools and how to incorporate them into the conservation process.
This course is co-sponsored with the collaboration of the Getty Conservation Institute, Los Angeles, California.
The course will be held at ICCROM and will feature sixteen participants from sixteen countries.
