| ATHAR: SHAMS project workshop
26 December. On 5 and 7 December ICCROM hosted a workshop of the European funded project on Sustainable Human Activities in Mediterranean Systems (SHAMS).
This initiative was part of a one-week workshop held both in Rome and Herculaneum. Projects implemented by
SHAMS partners (Municipality of Rome, Municipality of Bosra,
Soprintendenza Archeologica di Roma, Federculture, and ICCROM's ATHAR Programme) were reviewed.
The workshop aimed at the development of a two-year conservation action
plan for the World Heritage City of Bosra, Syria.
