31 January. Ms Ping Kong from Tongii Urban Planning and Design Institute, Shanghai, People's Republic of China, has recently completed a three month internship at ICCROM. The Director-General of ICCROM, Mounir Bouchenaki, presented her with a certificate, in the presence of Mrs Tatiana Kirova, Facoltà di Architettura, Politecnico di Torino.

One of the purposes of her visit to ICCROM was to develop cooperation between the Asia-Pacific World Heritage Training and Research Institute in Shanghai and ICCROM.

Furthermore, she had the opportunity during her stay to work with the Living Heritage Sites Programme of ICCROM, and with several Italian heritage training institutes, to develop future joint activities.
