| New intern at ICCROM
9 March. Catherine Heim has taken up a three-month internship at ICCROM until May 2007. She will be examining the role of the conservator-restorer in cultural heritage legislation at national and European level.
Ms Heim is preparing a PhD in archaeology (on Buddhist monuments built in Afghanistan during the first centuries AD). She is also studying legal issues of cultural heritage, particularly in relation to the conservation, management and presentation of archaeological remains.
This internship is a part of the collaboration between ICCROM and ECCO (the European Confederation of Conservators-restorers' Organization).
