| New Intern at ICCROM
3 May. Dennis Mulavwu Haambote has taken up a two month internship at ICCROM until the end of June 2007.
He holds a BA in History and Philosophy and a Masters in Archaeology from the University of Cambridge. He is also a former participant of the Africa 2009 Regional Course on the Management and Conservation of Immovable Cultural Heritage. He is currently working as a Senior Cultural Heritage Officer for the National Heritage Conservation Commission in Zambia.
His work at ICCROM will focus on establishing how Heritage Institutions can contribute towards combating the HIV/AIDS pandemic at work places and at heritage sites. He will develop sub-themes for the International Seminar on HIV/AIDS and Cultural Heritage to be held in November 2007.
