27 May. On 25 - 27 May, the Director-General of ICCROM participated in the international seminar of World Heritage Sites, held in partnership with the World Heritage Centre (WHC), ICOMOS and ICCROM.

22 May. On 21 - 22 May, the Director-General of ICCROM signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the World Heritage Institute for Research and Training in Asia-Pacific (WHITRAP). Present were Dr Yongsheng Li, Vice-peresident of Tongji University, Zangh Xisheng, Executive Board of UNESCO also Vice Minister of Education of China, and the Director of the World Heritage Centre, Francesco Bandarin.

He also participated to the international symposium on the organization and operation of the World Heritage Institute for Asia-Pacific.
