Christchurch, New Zealand
30 June. On 25 - 30 June, the Director-General of ICCROM participated in the World Heritage Committe meeting. During the meeting he met with Monsignor Francesco Follo, representative of the Holy See at UNESCO, as well as the representative of Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (ISESCO).
He also met with a Chinese delegation (Mr Xiaogang Tian, Secretary General, UNESCO National Commission of the People's Republic of China, and the representative of the Tongji University). |

17 June. On 15 - 17 June, the Director-General of ICCROM participated in the international seminar on 'Public- Private Partnerships in the Management of Cultural Heritage Assets - a European Challenge' held in Berlin under the chairmanship of Dr Stefan Simon, ICCROM Council Member. |

14 June. On 13 - 14 June, the Director-General of ICCROM participated in an international seminar on World Cultural Heritage within the EU German presidency.
He also met with Walter Hirche, President of the German Commission for UNESCO, and Peter Harry Carstensen, President of the Land Schleswig-Holstein. |

10 June. On 10 June, the Director-General of ICCROM participated in a course for top managers from Arab countries and Germany organized by DaimlerChrysler. |

Brussels, Belgium
8 June. On 7 - 8 June, the Director-General of ICCROM met with Ms Myriam Serck-Dewaide, Director, Institut royal du patrimoine artistique (IRPA) and ICCROM Council Member. He visited the premises of IRPA and had several meetings sith Belgium experts for programmes of cooperation between IRPA and ICCROM.
He also met with Guido Gryseels, Director of the Tervuren Museum, and his colleagues, in view of launching partnership with ICCROM for Africa. |
