24 October. On 22 October, Jinnai Hidenobu was awarded a Degree Honoris Causa by the University of Rome 'La Sapienza' and the School of Architecture 'Ludovico Quaroni'.

Professor Hidenobu was a participant of the 1976 ICCROM Architectural Conservation Course. He is now Professor at Hosei University, Tokyo and is a recognized expert on the history of Japanese architecture.

Following the ceremony, he gave a lecture on 'Tokyo: history and ecology, the foundations of city regeneration'.
