13 February. On 8 February, ICCROM hosted an ECCO (European Confederation of Conservator Restorers Organizations) meeting to formulate a recommendation on cultural heritage conservation and restoration for the Council of Europe.

The recommendation aims to make countries aware of the needs of the conservation-restoration field, and to take them into consideration when developing policies and standards for the protection of European heritage.

The interdisciplinary working group included conservator-restorers, teachers, managers, art historians and legislators.
