9 May. From 8 to 9 May 2008, ICCROM hosted the annual meeting of the financial partners of the AFRICA 2009 programme.

In attendance were representatives of: the Swedish National Heritage Board, who also represented the Swedish International development Agency (SIDA), the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs; the Norwegian Directorate of Cultural Heritage; the Finnish Ministry of Foreign Affairs; and the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (DGCS).

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the report of activities and financial statements for the year 2007, the workplan for 2008, and what will happen after the end of the programme in 2009. ICCROM is grateful to the financial partners for the continued support they have given to the programme.
