A recent decree passed by the Council of Ministers of Italy foresees the possible abolition of the Istituto Italiano per l’Africa e l’Oriente (IsIAO). The international scientific community is extremely worried about this risk.

3 July. ECPA's work concludes
The European Commission on Preservation and Access (ECPA) was established in 1994 to promote the preservation of the documentary heritage in Europe. This year, with the finalization of the TAPE project, the ECPA will bring its work to a close.
