22 February. Olga Garcia Jiménez, from Spain, has taken up a two-months internship at ICCROM from February to April. Working within the CollAsia 2010 programme, she will be improving her knowledge and experience on Asian Heritage affairs by researching the relationship between movable heritage and the development of sustainable cultural tourism strategies in that region.

Ms Jimenez has previously held professional training internships at the Spanish Ministry of Culture in Madrid (culture management) and at the Spanish Embassy in Tokyo (culture and heritage management). From 2002 to 2005 she worked at the Spanish National Library as Information Staff Supervisor and Japanese users Assistant.
