11 June. Iolanda Ratti, from Italy, has joined the Collections Unit for a two-month internship from June to July 2008.

Iolanda is a graduate in Modern Literature from the Università degli Studi di Milano with a thesis on History of Contemporary Art and is currently attending the Scuola di Specializzazione in Storia dell'Arte Contemporanea. She has been working with the Civiche Raccolte d'Arte del Castello Sforzesco in Milan as assistant cconservator of the contemporary art collections.

While at ICCROM she will be involved in the SOIMA project (Conservation of Sound and Image Collections) and will assist, among other issues, in the preparation of an annotated bibliography on the topic.
