CollAsia 2010 course on conservation of underwater archaeological collections

16 September. The CollAsia2010 International course on 'Conservation of Underwater Archaeological Collections' began in the Philippines.
The course has been made possible thanks to the following collaborating institutions:
Twenty seven participants from fourteen countries are participating in this three-week course.
The course is taking place both at the National Museum of the Philippines in Manila and at the Subic Bay and is a collaboration between ICCROM, SPAFA, the Getty Foundation, UNESCO Jakarta, and the National Museum of the Philippines.
Member States represented: Brazil, Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Finland, France, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam
