Honorary Fellow at ICCROM
21 April. Rosa Lowinger, a conservator of sculpture and architecture, Los Angeles, United States, has been given an Honorary Fellowship at ICCROM, concurrent with the Booth Family Rome Prize, at the American Academy in Rome.
She is carrying out a comprehensive study of the causes and effects of art vandalism seen from a number of different perspectives — historical, sociological, political, and technical. The aim is to create a theoretical model that will inform the conservation of contemporary public art.
