Preventive conservation for endangered collections
1 June. ICCROM and UNESCO continue developing methodologies and related didactic tools on collections documentation and storage re-organization for smaller museums.
Thanks to a voluntary team of colleagues from various regions, projects and case-studies are currently taking place in Angola, Argentina, Colombia, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, Indonesia, Mexico, Netherlands, Peru and Philippines in order to apply and test the approach.
In the meantime, we are pleased to announce the new UNESCO online publication on Collections in Museum Storage:
