Part 1 of a 2-part series. Restoration of the mural paintings of the Amiriya Madrasa (1504), Radà, Yemen. The intervention was carried out by the Centro di Conservazione Archeologica of Rome (CCA), directed by Roberto Nardi. The project received the Aga Khan Award for Architecture in 2007.
