| Visiting researcher at ICCROM
8 March. Xiaomei Zhao from China is now at ICCROM until August undergoing
research on the conservation of living vernacular heritage.
She holds
degrees in Archaeology and Psychology, as well as a Master of Engineering
in Architectural History and Theory. Xiaomei is presently completing her
Ph.D. at the School of Architecture of Tsinghua University, Beijing. Her
doctoral paper will be on, 'Research on Conservation of Vernacular
Heritage: Case Study - Villages of Dong Nationality in Guizhou Province,
China'.
