| New Research Fellow at ICCROM
17 June. Prof Nalini Thakur, is undertaking a three-month
research fellowship, from June to August 2010.
Nalini is a professor at the School of Planning and Architecture Delhi where she also served as Head of Department from 1995 - 2005. She has been involved in the conservation of numerous sites in India and elsewhere including leading the very difficult task of developing a management plan for the Hampi World Heritage site.
While at ICCROM, she will be researching on integrated and holistic approaches to living heritage protection and management. She is particularly interested in integrating traditional knowledge and intangible heritage into management systems.
