12 October . Leila Tumanishvili from Georgia is undertaking a fellowship until December 2010. While at ICCROM, she will be conducting research on private stakeholders in urban heritage protection and management.

Ms Tumanishvili has a PhD in Architecture, having written her thesis on, 'Methodological Basis of the Study and Protection of the Historical Urban Fabric'. She is presently Head of the Information Systems Unit, National Agency for the Cultural Heritage Preservation, Georgia.  Prior to this she was Director, Cultural Heritage Department, of the Georgian Ministry of Culture, Monuments Protection and Sports.
