| New Research Fellow at ICCROM
12 November . Monika Ostaszewska Boccardi, a Canadian and Polish national, is undertaking a fellowship until the end of January 2011. While at ICCROM, she will be conducting research on the “Efficiency of management systems in dealing with social issues in historic towns: examples of Siena (Italy) and Torun (Poland)”.
Ms Ostaszewska Boccardi has a Masters degree from the University of Montreal on Built Heritage Preservation. She has previously worked for ICCROM as a consultant for the Heritage Settlements Unit, and has also consulted for the UNESCO World Heritage Centre and the Council of Europe on management planning, risk preparedness, and implementation of the World Heritage Convention.
