26 April. ICCROM is pleased to welcome Mr Daijiro Kitagawa who has been seconded by the government of Japan to succeed Mr Ken Kanai as a project manager for the Sites Unit.

Mr Kitagawa holds a doctorate in civil engineering from the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, France.

He comes from the Agency for Cultural Affairs of Japan where he has over 10 years experience as a specialist for the evaluation and listing of industrial built heritage.
