1 February. Estefania Lopez Gutierrez from Colombia is undertaking a three-month internship, from February through April 2011, to collaborate on the LATAM programme.

A Master student at the Université Descartes in Paris with experience and interest in culture and development, Estefania will assist Katriina Similä and the LATAM team at ICCROM in ensuring follow-up on LATAM programme development. Priorities over the next 3 months include the following: establishing a plan with the Council Working Group for LATAM, contacting the various Working Groups and clarifying specific actions and budget needs for 2011 and beyond, assisting the Working Group on Economic indicators with the upcoming workshop in Recife, and reviewing and strengthening financial partnerships for the programme.
