| New Intern at ICCROM
13 April. Angela Russo from Italy is undertaking an internship with ICCROM from April to June 2011 as Laboratory Assistant for the International Course on Stone Conservation.
Angela Russo holds a Master Degree in Conservation Science from the University of Rome ‘La Sapienza’. She has also completed a highly specialized course on the restoration of stone, paintings on canvas, and wood. Her main interests are characterizing materials and developing and promoting appropriate solutions for conservation problems. She is working as restorer and she has just completed a project at Villa Medici in Rome.
Her past experiences also include interning for Italian Commission for UNESCO where she collaborated on issues related to tangible and intangible cultural heritage in Italy, and volunteering in the ICCROM Laboratory in 2005.
