8 August. Ms. Gabriela Morales Larraya from Uruguay has joined ICCROM as a fellow until 15 September. She will be carrying out research for developing museology in Uruguay.

Ms. Gabriela Morales Larraya is a lecturer at the Instituto Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes at the Uruguayan University of the Republic, as well as a researcher at the AANI (Research and Innovation National Agency in Uruguay). She is involved in a university project aiming to create an academic unit for museology and heritage.

While at ICCROM, she expects to identify and analyze a number of current academic programs in the field of heritage and museology, with a view towards developing a plan for Uruguay.
