12 November. The General Assembly of the Member States of ICCROM will be held in Rome at the headquarters of the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations (FAO), from 14 to 16 November 2011.

Delegations from 79 of ICCROM’s Member States are attending the three-day event, together with observers from 28 partner institutions. They will be listening to reports on the implementation of 2010-2011 programme, discussing the 2012-2013 Progamme and Budget, and electing new members to ICCROM’s Council. This General Assembly will also see the appointment of the new Director-General.

Other events will include the welcoming of new Member States and the ICCROM Award ceremony.
