Seventh World Archaeological Congress
14-18 January 2013, Dead Sea, Jordan
14 August. The Seventh World Archaeological Congress will be held at the King Hussein Convention Center at the Dead Sea, Jordan from 14 – 18 January 2013.
The World Archaeological Congress (WAC) is an international organization founded in 1986, and encourages open dialogue among all people concerned about the past, including scholars from under-represented parts of the world, First Nations people, and descendent communities whose pasts are told by archaeologists.
A wide variety of themes and sessions are proposed for this seventh conference edition, ranging from education, science, interpretation, protection, economic development, and conflict resolution. ICCROM staff and network will be participating.
