The database Khartasia combines historical and technological information on components of the papermaking plants, papermaking manufacturing, paper names and characteristics of papermaking fibers. The texts are illustrated with photographs or drawings. The information comes from literature surveys carried out in collaboration with partner institutions in China, Korea and Japan.
