16 January. ICCROM is pleased to welcome Carla Pianese from Italy, who will be carrying out an internship at ICCROM through April 2013.

Carla has recently completed her Master of Arts in Conservation of Cultural Heritage at the University of Bologna. Her thesis was entitled “Applying the CCI-ICCROM-RCE Risk Management Method to the Antique Art collection of the Ravenna Municipal Art Museum (MAR), Italy". A Leonardo da Vinci Scholarship recipient, she was selected by The National Museum of Denmark as an intern on its Preventive Conservation programme where she carried out Integrated Pest Management (IPM) activities, administrated loans, and managed the packing and transport of artworks, focusing on risk assessment.

During her internship at ICCROM, she will be collaborating on the follow-up of ICCROM-RCE-CCI partnership for risk management.
