| New Intern at ICCROM
2 May. ICCROM is pleased to welcome Rugile Balkaite from Lithuania, who will be carrying out an internship at ICCROM until June 2013.
Rugile holds a masters degree in history with a specialization in heritage preservation from the University of Vilnius. She worked in the Ministry of Culture in the Department of Cultural Policy, Division of Protected Areas and Cultural Heritage Preservation, and is currently working as a heritage programme Coordinator at the Lithuanian National Commission for UNESCO.
While at ICCROM, Rugile will be working on the development of the development of case studies related to the conservation of World Heritage properties in Lithuania. She will also be helping ICCROM staff in our preparation for the upcoming 37th session of the World Heritage Committee in Cambodia.
