Ward Bucher

 

 

New Fellow at ICCROM

8 May. Mr. Ward Bucher from United States is undertaking a fellowship at ICCROM until the end of May.

Mr. Bucher has Bachelor degrees in Building Science and in Architecture, both from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. With over thirty six years as a registered architect, Ward has a thorough knowledge of new and historic buildings. He has assessed the condition and designed the restoration and adaptive reuse of historic buildings, and has volunteered his technical expertise as a member of many boards and commissions. Mr. Bucher works for Bucher/Borges Group PLLC in Maryland; he is currently the architect for two National Historic Landmark properties and is responsible for the adaptive use of multiple historic buildings.

While at ICCROM, Mr. Bucher will be carrying out his research on Dating Buildings Resources: Establishing an International Website.
