On 10 January, of a group of twenty students from Göteborg University, Sweden visited ICCROM, accompanied by Professor Ola Wetterberg, Head of the Department of Conservation. The students are enrolled in a four-year ‘Conservation of Cultural Property’ programme. The group was welcomed by Mr Richard Lindo, Director- General a.i., and listened to presentations by Rosalia Varoli- Piazza (Senior Conservation Adviser, Collections Unit), Gamini Wijesuriyah (Project Manager, Sites Unit), Ernesto Borelli (Laboratory Coordinator), and Paul Arenson (Manager, Documentation, Archives & Library). A tour of the library and laboratory followed.
