Umberto Baldini Obituary

31 August. ICCROM regrets to record that Umberto Baldini, the influential Italian restoration expert who led efforts to restore Florence's treasures after the Arno River flooded the city in 1966, died after a long illness at the age of 84.

Logo MIC (Moving Image Collections) MIC (Moving Image Collections)

4 August. The MIC initiative is a collaborative between The Association of Moving Image Archivists (AMIA) and the Library of Congress. It documents moving image collections around the world through a catalogue of titles and a directory of repositories. It also functions as an information resource to support research, collaboration, and preservation. The portal aims at integrating moving images into 21st century education.
