On 28 September, Maria Teresa Scajola, member of the FAI Regional Council of Liguria (Italian Fund for the Environment), visited ICCROM. She met with the Director-General, Mounir Bouchenaki, to discuss preparations for the International Meeting on the Maritime Heritage of the Mediterranean to be held in the Principality of Monaco from 24 to 27 March, 2007.

On 28 September, Dr Rita Awad, Director of Culture, ALECSO (Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization), visited ICCROM. She met with the Director-General, Mounir Bouchenaki, and Zaki Aslan, ATHAR Project Coordinator, Sites Unit, to discuss future collaboration with ATHAR.

On 28 September, former Council Member of ICCROM, Dr Nobuo Ito, visited ICCROM. He met with the Director-General, Mounir Bouchenaki, to discuss the role of ICCROM in the field of capacity building and the experience Japan has gained in this area, particularly in dealing with the notion of"authenticity".

On 8 September, a group of fifteen students from the Master course on Storia e Storiografia Multimediale, University Roma Tre, visited ICCROM. They were accompanied by the Director of the programme, Prof Pia Celozzi Baldelli. Following presentations by ICCROM staff, they were given a tour of the Library.

On 8 September, Prof Zhou Jian, College of Architecture and Urban Planning, Tongji University, China, visited ICCROM. He met with the Director-General, Mounir Bouchenaki to discuss possible future collaboration.

On 8 September, Mr Guido Carducci, Chief, International Standards Section, UNESCO, visited ICCROM. He met with the Director-General, Mounir Bouchenaki to discuss possible future collaboration between ICCROM and the Normative Section of the Division of Cultural Heritage of UNESCO, particularly concerning the conventions and recommendations for the protection of cultural property.

On 7 September, Mr Ugo Picarelli, Director of the Mediterranean Exchange of Archaeological Tourism of Paestum, visited ICCROM. He met with the Director-General, Mounir Bouchenaki, to discuss ICCROM's 50th anniversary celebration which will take place in the context of the 9th edition of the Mediterranean Exchange of Archaeological Tourism of Paestum.

On 1 September, Mr Roberto Carpano, Coordinator Euromed Heritage visited ICCROM, He met with the Director-General, Mounir Bouchenaki to discuss Euromed Heritage and ICCROM collaboration in view of the two forthcoming meetings in Rome (September) and in in Istanbul (October).
