On 31 October, a delegation of heritage professionals from the Chinese National Institute of Cultural Property visited ICCROM. They met with the Director-General, Mounir Bouchenaki. Following presentations by ICCROM staff, they were given a tour of the Library.

On 19 October, Ms Hongxia Liu, IDLO (International Development Law Organization) Director for IDLO Asia Pacific (Sydney Office), visited ICCROM. She met with the Director-General, Mounir Bouchenaki.

On 18 October, José Nun, Secretary of State for Culture, Argentina accompanied by Mercedes Parodi, First Secretary, Embassy of Argentina, visited ICCROM. They met with the Director-General, Mounir Bouchenaki.

On 17 October, Elizabeth Khawajkie, Coordinator, UNESCO Associated Schools Project, and Stefan Bernhart, DaimlerChrysler AG, visited ICCROM. They met with the Director-General, Mounir Bouchenaki, to finalize the preparation of the Mondialogo School Contest Symposium to be held in Rome in November 2006.

On 16 October, Pier Giovanni Guzzo, Soprintendente, Soprintendenza Archeologica di Pompei, visited ICCROM. He met with the Director-General, Mounir Bouchenaki.

On 11 October, H.E. Rajiv Dogra, Ambassador of India, and of Mr Mandarapu Subbarayudu, First Secretary, Embassy of India, visited ICCROM. They met with the Director-General, Mounir Bouchenaki. They highlighted the importance India attaches to ICCROM and noted that the organization was created during the meeting in New Delhi in 1956 of the UNESCO General Conference.

On 9 October, Cecilia Bakula, Director of the Peruvian Instituto Nacional de Cultural (INC), accompanied by Roberto Seminario, Minister Chargé d'Affaires, Peruvian Embassy in Rome, and Mrs Giovanna Zannelli, Second Secretary in charge of Cultural Affairs, visited ICCROM. They met with the Director-General, Mounir Bouchenaki to discuss cooperation between ICCROM and the countries of Latin America. The delegation welcomed the new ICCROM proposals for activities in Latin America.
