On 17 April, Dr
Carlo Callieri, President of the Fondazione per l'Arte della
Compagnia di San Paolo and Vice President of the Management Committee
of the EPA Fund visited ICCROM. He met with the
Director-General, Mounir Bouchenaki and and Bruno Pisani, Manager of Finance and Administration.

On 2 April, a group of 18 students from Göteborg University, Sweden visited ICCROM, accompanied by Professor Ola Wetterberg, Head of the Department of Conservation. The students are enrolled in a four-year ‘Conservation of Cultural Property’ programme. The group was welcomed by Valerie Magar, (Conservation Specialist, Sites Unit) who also gave a lecture on 'archaeological conservation in an urban context'. They also listened to presentations by Rosalia Varoli-Piazza (Senior Conservation Adviser, Collections Unit), Katriina Simila (Project Manager, Collections Unit), Ernesto Borelli (Laboratory Coordinator), and Paul Arenson (Manager, Documentation, Archives and Library). A tour of the library and laboratory followed.
