20 June. ICCROM, in partnership with the Rathgen Research Laboratory of the National Museums of Berlin, the German National Commission for UNESCO, ICOMOS and GCI, held a two-day international seminar on ‘Public-Private Partnership in the Management of Cultural Heritage Assets’ (15 - 16 June).

13 June. José María Losada, a long-time ICCROM collaborator, died following a long illness, on 10 June 2007, aged 58.

Tunisia's National Culture Day Celebrating Tunisia's National Culture Day

11 June. As guest of honour of the Minister of Culture of Tunisia, the Director-General of ICCROM presented a silver plaque of ICCROM's emblem to the President of the Republic of Tunisia on the occasion of the Journée nationale de la culture in Tunisia.

Garry Thomson Obituary

6 June. Garry Thomson CBE, recipient of the ICCROM Award (1986) and long-time ICCROM lecturer and collaborator, died peacefully at his home in the UK on 23 May 2007, aged 81.
