On 18 July, Silvio Dottorini, Senior Adviser, UNESCO Office in Venice - UNESCO Regional Bureau for Science and Culture in Europe (BRESCE), visited ICCROM. He met with the Director-General, Mounir Bouchenaki.

On 12 July, a delegation of archaeologists from the Ministry of Culture of Viet Nam visited ICCROM. The delegation was led by Dr. Dang Van Bai, Cultural Heritage Director.
They were welcomed by Rosalia Varoli-Piazza, Senior Conservation Adviser, and listened to presentations on ICCROM's work given by Valerie Magar, Conservation Specialist, Sites Unit; Katriina Similä, Programme Manager, Collections Unit; and, Ernesto Borelli, Laboratory Coordinator. Following the presentations they were given a tour of the library and the laboratory. ICCROM also organized the group’s visits to the following sites in Rome: the Coliseum, Ara Pacis Museum, Vatican Museums, and to the Istituto Centrale per il Restauro.
