30 June. A new regional programme for the conservation of cultural heritage in Latin America and the Caribbean (LATAM) will be launched in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia, 14 - 17 July 2008.

18 June. On 11 June, the Director-General of ICCROM, Mounir Bouchenaki, returned some precious wall-painting fragments that had been stored for many years at ICCROM to Caterina Bon Valsassina, Director of the Istituto Superiore per la Conservazione ed il Restauro (ISCR).

18 June. ICCROM is pleased to announce the adhesion of Yemen as a new Member State as of 18 June 2008. The adhesion of Yemen brings the number of Member States of ICCROM to 126.
